Last Rites

"Last Rites" is a story about a retired adventurer who, out of old loyalty to erstwhile friends, goes after them when they go treasure hunting and don't come back. What follows is a confrontation with the past that forces her to recognize that mistakes were made and she now must deal with the results. A narrative experience from a rookie one-man developer, which tries to do as much as is possible with the RPG Maker system without using anything but the base assets. Hopefully a stepping stone for better things, but still worthwhile in itself.

Game features:
Essentially no unique graphics or audio
No mandatory combat, or much combat in general
Some decent writing to make up for the above

As per standard with RPG Maker games, if you haven't played one before, you'll have to install the Runtime Package in order to run it. A copy of the game with the RTP added is in the download box.
